The Egyptian side also introduced the progress of energy storage systems and smart grid reforms. In the meeting with Deputy Energy Minister of Kyrgyzstan Emilbek Ismanov and Deputy General Manager of the National Electric Power Company Ilgiz Sydgaliev (transliteration), the two sides focused on discussions over the policy environment, electricity market mechanisms, and project implementation challenges for renewable energy development in Central Asia.
