Cheng Chenguang Meets Brazil's Chief Minister Rui Costa

On April 30, Cheng Chengguang, General Manager of Windey ,held discussions with Minister Rui Costa from the Brazilian Presidential Office at the headquarters of the BRICS Bank in Shanghai. The two parties engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as China-Brazil cooperation in renewable energy, green industry development, and improving livelihoods. They reached broad consensus on advancing the implementation of wind power, energy storage, and related technologies in Brazil, as well as enhancing practical cooperation between China and Brazil.

 

 

Minister Rui Costa emphasized that Brazil attaches great importance to the development of the renewable energy industry and is willing to work hand in hand with Chinese enterprises to jointly advance the energy transition for the benefit of both nations. Mauricio Muniz, Special Secretary of Brazil's Accelerated Growth Program, and Thiago Barral, National Secretary for Energy Transition and Planning, expressed their welcome for Windey's advanced technologies to collaborate with Brazilian research institutions. They highlighted the potential for establishing a renewable energy R&D platform to foster localized innovation and enhance industrial capabilities.

 

Cheng Chengguang provided a brief overview of Windey's global presence in the renewable energy sector. He stated that as a socially responsible renewable energy service provider, the company is committed to delivering clean energy solutions to Brazil through technological and project support, contributing to the improvement of livelihoods. Building on the long-standing friendship between China and Brazil, Windey aims to actively collaborate on key areas such as integrated wind-storage-hydrogen solutions, localization of equipment manufacturing, and energy-related livelihood projects, thereby supporting the modernization of Brazil's energy system.

 

 

This meeting marks a further deepening of China-Brazil cooperation in the renewable energy sector. In the future, Windey will continue to uphold the concept of open cooperation, using high-quality projects as a bridge to promote strategic alignment between the two sides in the renewable energy field, achieving mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.

 

Leaders from the Brazilian Presidential Office, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, as well as relevant officials from Windey's International Company and Energy Storage Company, participated in the discussions.
